Frequently Asked Questions

How do I download the app?

Click the download link above to get the latest version of the FiveFootGimme app. Once downloaded, unzip, and run the application.

What launch monitors are supported?

Right now we only support the Garmin Approach R10 and Rapsodo MLM2PRO, but are working to add support for others. Please check back here or contact us for the full compatibility list as we continue to expand support.

Note: For Windows users of Bluetooth connected launch monitors (i.e. Approach R10), you MUST first pair the launch monitor with your computer outside of the app or the app will not be able to communicate with the launch monitor.

Double Note: Rapsodo MLM2PRO users must still authenticate their device with their mobile app like normal (using the AwesomeGolf 3rd party app; yes, even if this isn't AwesomeGolf)

What resolution is supported?

The Cloud PC is running the simulator software at 1080p Ultra. Your device can be in a different resolution and the stream will downscale or upscale as needed.

How do I adjust my stream bitrate/quality?

When you open the app, and before you connect to your session, use the 'Settings' button near the 'Session Configuration' section. The stream bitrate setting is defaulted to 10,000, but you may find that produces too many video artifacts for you. If your network speed is capable, we recommend a minimum of 20,000, and a maximum of 40,000.

Where do I get my session ID?

At the start of your session slot, you will receive an email containing the session ID. Make sure to check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it!

Do I need my own license?

At this time, all licenses are per device they're stored on so we cover that cost for the machine you connect into.

Where did my player data go?

Into the void! The only things that persist from session to session are the downloaded courses.

My shots aren't being read in GSPro!

Sometimes connections get into a bad state. Hopefully it doesn't happen too often, but usually the first step to try is to open the GSPro Setting -> Game -> System -> Reset GSPro Connect.

After a few moments, it should reset and reconnect!

What Simulator Software is supported?

We're looking into formal partnerships with some sim software companies, but at this time only GSPro is supported
